Too many places...

I have too many places where I post content.
LJ, where I write when I need to think.
Twitter, where momentary glimpses, fun quotes, cool links or rants appear throughout my day.
instagram where I post my daily photo for my #365 project. (can also be found on http://instagrid.me/eurydice13)
And the occasional discussion on facebook or "oh shiny" moment on pinterest.

Most of the time, things get routed to twitter.
Thing is, I also have a wordpress blog for my sewing, a tumblr which I don't use much, and of course my own website. So I've been thinking that it would be nice to have one place to collect everything. But I cannot for the life of me figure out the flow / collection point of the various items. Things end up fragmented. Attempting to collect them in one spot results in mayhem, flooding and general insanity.

Has anyone else got a similar problem? I am not quite so concerned about facebook. I like twitter and LJ, mostly. I would like to blog about what I do, but can't as it's ... well... the company's! So a design blog (or portfolio on behance) is harder to maintain. And I have yet to figure out if / how to aggregate or distribute the various things I publish. And where to keep them. And whether anyone would want to read them. Ah. The puzzles. First world problems, as people say.

On that note, I'll go dream of simpler things. As a friend used to say... 'night spoons!

I think it's good to have things in different places otherwise you end up censoring everything and just presenting a front to some imagined audience you need to impress.
